Do I have to put in a credit card to start?
Nope. You sign up, you get 30 days of Pro, no card required. We'll only ask for payment if you want to keep Pro going after the trial ends. Otherwise you just drop to the Free plan automatically — no surprises, no charges.
What happens when my 30-day trial ends?
If you've added a payment method, you stay on Pro and we charge $14.99 + GST that day. If you haven't, your account drops to the Free plan automatically. Every invoice you've already made stays exactly where it is — yours forever, on either plan.
Can I go back to Pro after I've dropped to Free?
Yeah, any time. One tap from your Settings page. Pro kicks in immediately and the $14.99 + GST starts billing from that day. You don't have to wait for the start of a month or anything daft.
Can I cancel Pro whenever I want?
Yep. Cancel any time, no questions, no "are you sure" guilt-trip pages. You keep Pro until the end of your current billing month, then drop to Free. All your data stays.
What if I'm not registered for GST?
No worries — switch "Registered for GST" off in your business settings and Billz leaves GST off your invoices. Most tradies turning over $75k or more have to be registered, but if you're under the threshold (a sole trader doing a few weekend jobs), Billz handles your invoices without GST just fine.
Is Billz suitable for my trade?
If you do hands-on work and bill people for it, yes.
